A message from the President:
NAMVE Teams Up With the
IAM Labor Music Project!

NAMVE is supporting and working with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) on what they are calling the IAM Labor Music Project. The project is geared to reinvigorate the Labor Movement with music that is not only meaningful but that people will want to listen to and enjoy. They are looking for anyone who can play an instrument, write music, sing or a poet. The IAM and NAMVE are asking that you use your talent to tell the stories of the labor movement; whether about workers and social justice, walking the picket line, bargaining for better wages and benefits, the declining middle class, the solidarity of union brothers and sisters, or anything else you want to share about life today for working families. All genres of music are welcome (Rap, Country, Rock, R&B, Tejano, etc.).

If you are interested in participating in this project or would like more information  please email us at cwilliams@iamaw.org or call the NAMVE office at 1-877-976-2683 M-F 7:30-3:30 EST.

Best Wishes,
George Tindall
President
